Diclofenac 1% & Menthol, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate Gel is a topical analgesic (pain reliever) used to treat acute musculoskeletal discomfort and joint pain associated with osteoarthritis. It relieves pain, edema, and stiffness in the joint, allowing you to move and bend it more freely.

How It Works

Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate (pain relievers), Linseed oil (anti-inflammatory), and Menthol are all found in this medicine. It works by cooling and then warming the skin, obstructing the passage of pain signals through neurons. The components of this medicine act together to prevent the flow of chemical signals that leads to pain, inflammation, and edema. Only take it if your doctor recommends it.

How to Use It

It is only for topical application on the skin. With a strip of clean cotton ball or gauze swab, apply it to the affected region.
Wash your hands with soap and water before using it, and then gently work the gel into your skin (affected area).
If the affected region is your hand, let it dry for at least 60 minutes before washing it. After applying the product, wait at least 60 minutes before showering.
It is not recommended to use it to expose wounds or inﬂammatory dressings to the treated joints.
Avoid contact with the eyes and nasal passages when using it. Keep the treated joint(s) out of direct sunlight.
After applying this medication, wait at least 10 minutes before putting on any garments or gloves.

Precautions - Diclofenac 1% & Menthol, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate Gel

Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to this medication or any other pain relievers (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or celecoxib) or if you have any other allergies before using it.
People with asthma, liver problems, kidney disease, stomach problems (bleeding, ulcers), cardiovascular disorders (heart problem, high blood pressure, stroke), swelling, blood disorders and (anaemia) should not use it.
Children under the age of two should not use this medication.
Aside from that, older children (2-12 years) should be treated with caution. Because it contains methyl salicylate, it should be avoided by children with viral flu, chickenpox, or viral fever (swelling in the liver and brain).
