Pomalidomide Capsule is used in conjunction with dexamethasone to treat numerous Myeloma (Bone Marrow Cancer) that has not responded to at least two previous drugs, such as lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor like bortezomib or carfilzomib, during or within 60 days of treatment. It is also used in the treatment of Kaposi's sarcoma (a type of cancer that causes abnormal tissue to grow in different regions of the body) in persons with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) who have failed to respond to conventional treatments, or in people with Kaposi's sarcoma who don't have HIV infection. Pomalidomide belongs to a class of drugs known as immunomodulatory agents. It works by assisting the bone marrow in the production of regular blood cells while also eliminating aberrant cells in the marrow.Pomalidomide Capsule - How To Use
- Pomalidomide is available in the form of a capsule that must be swallowed. On days 1 to 21 of a 28-day cycle, it is normally taken once a day with or without food. This 28-day schedule can be repeated as often as your doctor suggests.

- While using a pomalidomide capsule, you should not breastfeed.
- If you use tobacco products, notify your doctor. This medication's effectiveness may be reduced if you smoke cigarettes.
